What does a barbecue festival have to do with the bigger challenges facing Johnson County’s volunteer fire departments? Quite a bit, as it turns out.
This week on The Johnson County Line, Dan Cullinane and Sheila Caldwell are joined by Chad Greever for a closer look at the questions surrounding Ribfest, the concerns raised by local volunteer fire departments, and the larger issue of how we fund the men and women we depend on when an emergency happens.
From there, the conversation turns to Johnson County’s future.
